I’ve always made a point of never using a self-checkout, mostly to protect the employment and dignity of the actual human workers in the store. I’ve noticed that all of the sudden they are trying to coerce the use of self-checkout in certain stores, not even giving you the choice of using a cashier. Why would they do this? What is the Goal?

On a sunny and crisp Saturday, January 28th, Krewe De Yak kicked off its 10th annual Mardi Gras Festival in Defuniak Springs, FL. This local organization is self-funded by its members and considered the “Greatest Free Show on Earth!”
