It is informed about Electoral Malpractices – how voters are bribed by offering them cash, imported toys for children of voters, clothing, daily utility items, pressure cookers. Cash seizures and arrests are made by the police of driver carrying the cash in the vehicle but the real culprits who arranged that cash are never brought to justice and it goes on elections after elections. The Election Commission – political appointees sits as a mute spectator citing helplessness and passing the buck on other institutions.
Through this News outreach initiative, a wider population is informed, giving a perspective of election reality in the world’s largest democracy and through sustained advocacy trying to build stir up a bottoms-up movement so as to be heard by multiple/ duplication/ overlapping public Institutions at taxpayers’ money.
