- On October 29-30, 2022, the 27th Annual Mattie Kelly Festival of the Arts was hosted by the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) of Destin, FL. This event featured exhibits of 100 plus artists from across the United States showcasing multiple artistic styles within 20 different art mediums.
- Key highlight: Honoring local artists in the “Collaborative Art Tent” showcasing the various talents of 80+ artists displaying skills from K-12 school age to adults. Some of the featured artists: Ian Fagan, Julie Miles Gaffney, Helene Pappas, Destin High School, Ohana Institute and more!
- This cultural weekend festivities celebrated art, music, food, family fun with six live music presentations, a kid’s creative corner, pop-up photo booths, street performers, and over seven local favorite food trucks and beverage bars.
