It was back in 2019 these systems appeared into the office.
It started years ago with this small icon, the benefit being you can see if your workmates and bosses are available.
Nobody thought this was anything but what it was said it to be.
The icon is green when your mouse or keyboard is moving, turns yellow if you don’t move for a couple of minutes, goes red if the mouse/keyboard is left without movement, and when you’re off work.
Soon workers realized how the thing must be handled. If your workmate is coming to talk to you in person, the mouse must be moved from time to time. Nobody wants to go red. This has become a habit. Don’t leave your desk and keep the mouse moving.
The nice, high-tech open plan office building
The office moved into an open-plan office quarters that was renovated nicely and in a minimalistic way.
Some workers noticed a small object under their desks when connecting the computers.
This is a sensor to detect if your legs are under the table. It is connected to something called an “Emphatic Building”.
Workers were given a tag that shows where you are in real time.
You can find your workmates and bosses easily! When asked about how it is showing the workers while they use the toilet, well, it shows it.
Soon it was clear people didn’t keep the location tags with them. The tags were left in the outdoor wardrobes or into a drawer. Workers don’t like being followed.
Now the batteries have run out, we will see what happens next.
A great tool for gossipers
There have been cases where a gossip-hungry worker told others she had seen someone sitting next to someone who is a bit of a ladies’ man in a coffee table.
There are all kinds of people using the app. You can access the Empathic building app when you’re working from home also. This tool doesn’t protect our privacy.
Main part of the workers doesn’t have their own desks, you have to find an empty desk using the Emphatic building app.
If you want to have something concrete like pens and papers, you’ll either must carry them with you or find a locker to keep them overnight.
This is creating annoying and time-consuming problems: some workers don’t get a locker (outdoor clothes wardrobe) in the same floor as they find a desk.
Thinking about de-personalization.
Criticism about the open plan office building
Most of the workers think the bosses responsible for the move into an open plan office should have known it was a bad idea even after the 1980’s experiences. People could smoke inside at work at that time and there were other problems too.
Some workers can’t concentrate without using noise-cancelling headphones.
In this case, the biggest boss is the noisiest one.
The “pandemic” started soon after the change into open plan office and nobody had their rooms anymore. Some people were panic stricken about viruses there.
No dr. Shivas educational videos were known yet. All this would have been avoided if someone knew about the real science.
A quick change from office to home in March 2020
All the office workers got to work from home in the March of 2020. Some were relieved to get the change to work from home. Some because of the fear of viruses, some just because it was new, maybe freer.
Previously some of the bosses worked from home, testing how it goes, for a year. Thinking of one rule for them, one for us.
Suddenly all 600 workers were given laptops and working from home was happening without technical trouble. It was a miracle or a well-planned transition.
The employer had been replacing part of the desktop computers to laptops just before the “pandemic” happened.
Remote work advantages
It was a big change from having to travel to work and back home in the evening. Everybody got more free time, depending on how long your journey to work took, in some cases 2-3 hours daily.
Money was also saved, no gas/diesel buying, no public transport tickets.
Keep your legs under your desk
The Emphatic Building app shows what’s happening under your desk, the absence of legs shows in light blue. If one likes sometimes to sit keeping her legs at the side of the desk, there’ll be a cut in charts. One worker was found to be sitting on her chair in a lotus position. Nothing has resulted because of that, though.
The office has giant screens in all the meeting rooms and in coffee/ break rooms also. There’s also cameras and audio devices.
The copier is not working without recognition, workers must sign in with personal tags which open the doors everywhere you are allowed entry.
The printing and copying are said to be made safe; you can copy/print anywhere, just show the tag.
Copying and printing personal things is a problem, though it must be diminishing after screenshots and copy/paste actions.
Following workers who work remotely at home
Workers were shown a blurred bar chart, just quickly and before the video meeting was being recorded.
Employers are watching the incoming data, outgoing data, the number of points and lines added, moved, and deleted.
Everybody accepts this as “lesser of two evils”, it is so nice to be free and work remotely.
There’s no use to ask a union about this, maybe the new union, which was founded during the plandemic, opposing mandated jabs, or the health and safety commissioner. There’s doubt we can get the real answer, except contacting a lawyer. The laws are complex, and there are new laws created continuously.
What is the real use of the Emphatic Building?
The Empathic Building app is surely not just showing where your workmate and bosses are.
• Does the information go to some research?
• Are our actions during the working day recorded somewhere?
• How do they use it?
There must be some other use to this, that the workers will find out later. The bosses are telling nothing but the official story. Is there opacity?
Beyond for and anti-surveillance
Employers must have the right to know how their workers are performing, but what’s the limit?
There are laws to be studied to find out how much following, controlling, and recording is withing the law. The problem is acting ignoring the law has become more usual.
People are more ignorant and concentrate on fun things, not the real problems.
Power, profit, control or Truth, Freedom, Health?
This is why we must unite, start acting, join the movement truthfreedom.health.com/join and join real labor unions the movement is offering.
